Analysis: After Wednesday’s late-night trade of Kevin Durant to the Suns, the book finally closed on the Nets super team. It will go down as the biggest “what if” in NBA history, with Durant’s early 2010s Thunder team being a close second. Little times has there been a collection of talent as impressive as the Nets Big 3 of Harden, Irving and Durant. Those three collectively averaged a combined 79.5 points per game on the Nets; the only problem is they played 16 games together. What could have been if they had been healthy and actually wanted to play there, we will never know. The world moves on though, and Durant is now a Sun. After the trade, the Suns are now the favorites to make it out of the West. From end point to end point, this 2007 Bowman Chrome RC /199 BGS 9.5 couldn’t be flatter ($1 increase), but in between was a rather large rise and fall with pre-season hype back on the Nets. From here, it all depends on how this Suns team performs.
