Analysis: Is it Jordan Love time in Green Bay? The Packers backup has been sitting behind franchise icon Aaron Rodgers for the last three years, but that may change after an excruciating loss to the Lions two nights ago. Rodgers, who has been the starting QB of the Green Bay Packers for the past 15 years, may have thrown his final pass at Lambeau on Sunday (an INT akin to what Brett Favre did in 2007). It could also be the last pass of his career, but we won’t speculate on that front. What we do know is Rodgers was asked for his jersey after the game by Jameson Williams and his response was, “I’ve got to hold on to this one.” If he is holding onto it because its’ either his final game or final game as a Packer, both roads lead to the same outcome: Jordan Love QB1 time. That idea, which has lingered in the minds of card collectors for a while, has caused his market to rise this season. In the last three months, his 2020 Prizm Silver RC PSA 9 increased 73%. Where it goes from here depends on what Rodgers does, but if it is Love’s turn, he will look to carry on the historic QB play the Packers and their fans have enjoyed for the past 30 years.
